With the Xtorsion series Victory Archery has developed a high performance hunting arrow that has been put to the test against the toughest game on earth and is now the arrow of choice for big game hunters looking for the ultimate in momentum, penetration, and extreme durability. Instead of using other alloys like aluminum, (which is more malleable and susceptible to bending) our materials science experts chose 304 stainless steel for its yield strength, durability, and high modulus of elasticity (how hard it is to bend). The exterior of the arrow boasts a 90 degree woven carbon fiber to increase compressive strength and reduce torsional deflection. The result is a whisper quiet, small diameter arrow with extreme kinetic energy & unbelievable penetration.
Like all Victory Archery arrows, these shafts come with Victory’s proprietary ICE™ nano-ceramic coating for improved penetration and boast some of the tightest tolerances of any arrows in the industry. Guaranteed batch weights of ±0.5 GR per dozen and stiff axis spine alignment ensures supreme consistency shot after shot. Hand fletched Fusion II vanes at a 2.5 degree helical helps to optimize arrow stability and allow for perfect broadhead flight. SHOK™ aluminum (30 gr) or Stainless Steel (75gr) outserts deliver unsurpassed penetration and are designed to fit standard 5/16” broadheads and field points so no special thread pitch or size is necessary. Xtorsion arrows also feature Victory Archery’s MAXXKE™ Technology, an advanced 3K carbon weave to reduce torque and allow arrows to recover faster in flight.
