Hostaphan® UV-stabilized polyester films offer outstanding blocking of UVA, UVB and UVC radiation along with high optical transparency and virtually no color. This UV-stabilized film demonstrates moderate resistance to outdoor weathering. Ultra-clear, UV-stabilized polyester film grades are offered for industrial, packaging, and solar control film applications.
Hostaphan® silicone coated PET films are characterized by their outstanding release properties in combination with inherent polyester film characteristics such as high mechanical strength, low shrinkage, clarity and chemical resistance. These highly cured in-line coated films result in low silicone transfer rates.
Hostaphan® polyester matte films offer a wide variety of matte surfaces and provide advantages in a wide range of applications and markets, such as Carrier for hot stamping films, production of labels and tags, metallizing, laminates, FRP panels with matte surfaces, and carrier for transfer printing and industrial release.
Hostaphan® adhesion promoting film products provide excellent surface properties for a variety of applications. Our state of the art adhesion promoting coatings improve adhesion to inks, coatings, adhesives and primers that give destruct bonds for olefins and urethanes.
Hostaphan® polyester film products are available with a modified surface to impact Coefficient of Friction (COF): low COF to improve handling and processing around forming collars in FFS equipment; high COF (blocks) to reduce bag movement in palletized ‘big bag’ applications for lawn care and pet food. Modified surface films with differential topography are available for use in vinyl and urethane casting.
Available in PVC and PETG, Hishi Tube gives your package the security it needs. Our tamper-evident shrink bands and labels are available in a combination of base color and contrasting print design, combining eye-catching aesthetics with security.
